Prestonpans is right on our doorstep, a few minutes from our base in Tranent. We work across the town regularly, from a single door or repair to full kitchens and renovations.
It's a town of mixed housing, and that shapes the work. Older terraced and stone-built homes sit alongside interwar streets and more modern housing, so no two jobs are quite the same. George and Ross will come out, measure up and give you a clear written estimate, free of charge.
Prestonpans grew up around the local collieries, and much of the town dates from the 20th century. Between the wars it spread uphill from the shore. Along the High Street you will find houses from a range of decades, and there are older, traditional buildings in the town too.
That mix means different jobs. A more modern house might need a new kitchen, built-in storage or replacement internal doors. We fit kitchens from start to finish, and we build fitted wardrobes, alcove units, shelving and under-stair storage to suit the room rather than forcing a standard unit in.

The coastal weather is hard on external timber, so we are often asked about external doors, windows and decking. We fit internal, external and fire doors, repair timber and sash windows, and build decking.
